    iOS sim software choices for GC2?

    Hi, I'm close to purchasing a used GC2 but the only thing holding me back is that I'm unclear on what my software choices would be. From what I've seen so far, I think TGC would be my first choice (given lower cost and more course options than FSX). However, I do not have a full simulator setup and I want to be able to play courses in my backyard or at the driving range, so I want whatever I get to be usable with the GC2 over Bluetooth to an iPhone or iPad. Would that be possible with TGC? If not, what other options would be?

      You're going to need a rig with a real graphics card, iPhone and iPad is not going to cut it

          To play simulated golf courses I agree with Solstice72 you are going to need a PC with decent graphics card. That said, there is a free Foresight IOS app which works with GC2 over bluetooth to record ball metrics. Its called performance fitting app. I have taken my gc2 to an outdoor range with app on my iPad and used it to record data as I hit various club shaft combinations. Can also use hit to do a bag fitting and capture carry distances for every club. IOS app doesn't show animated ball flight but the data it records is very useful. For simulation software, I would recommend investigating alternatives more.

              There are no iOS sim options. There is an app but it’s only a data gathering app. No sim. Mevo+ has an iOS sim option.

                  Thanks everyone. Sounds like I'll need to get a Windows computer with decent gpu to do real simulation. I may investigate partitioning my Macbook Pro and running windows on that first before shelling out the money for a second computer.
