Looking for a "happily ever after" course on FSX

Want to find a course that I play the majority of my rounds on, similar to joining a country club.

Think I've narrowed the list down to Congressional, Cog Hill, or La Jolla Pines.

Thoughts? I'm open to other courses as well but don't want to spend $500 on Pebble Beach.

i just purchased the 3 courses from foresight sports for 150 these 3 courses are fantastic rolling fairways challenging greens ... i have congressional and coghill also i would rate illlini and shadow creek better also just my 2 cents

I'm just getting started with setting up and getting some courses. I don't see Shadow Creek available on the Foresight website? Is it?

Not all my courses have been updated to version 3.0, but I have really liked all the new versions.

Pebble Beach is excellent, probably my overall fave.
For parkland courses, Coeur d'Alene.
For links, Castle Stuart.

I don't see a need to have 50+ courses but I do like having a regular rotation of a dozen or so. I think I'd get a bit bored playing the same one every week.

Yup, I like the three new courses as well, but I do play Pebble probably the most and then followed by Coeur d'Alene

Honestly I've just been buying the courses when they're on sale. Best bargain. I bought the black friday deal n got 8 courses for free. Crosswater was on sale and is nice plus the 3 for 1 they just had are all good.

I play Couer D'Alene and Quail Hollow the most... I have La Jolla Pines and it is definitely not one of my go tos...

I like to rotate around courses, but if I were to pick one course to play over and over, it would be Couer D'Alene. I think that it's the most interesting as far as different holes, different challenges and good risk/reward opportunities. This pairs along with being beautiful visually.

My favourite 4 are Couer D'Alene, Wentworth, Pebble, and Spyglass. There's something about that island green on Couer D'Alene which is just brilliant.

I have to say my favorite is Oakmont. It is a complete test of golf in my opinion, you hit everything from 3 wood on a Par 3 to driveable Par 4's, 600 yard par 5, 500 yard par 4, soke par 4's dont allow you to hit driver or you'll run out of fairway.

I enjoy lately Pelican Hill. I like interesting holes, and doglegs. It was plenty challenging from the blacks; #18 is outside of my driving abilities, over the gorge, and I had to play the 'safe route'.

Driving accuracy is at a premium, tree lined fairways.

Ahh something I am struggling with at the moment! I’ll hold off at the moment!

how are the visuals?

Not as pretty as Pebble, but few are. It's a tree lined course,water only comes into play on a few holes, fairway bunkers don't really come in to play.

Only screw up I notices by the developers are the trees blocking the tee on hole 10.
