Quad LCD vs FSX Mobile

Hey guys new quad owner here. I don't have my gaming laptop yet so I'm just using FSX mobile on the iPad. I'm getting different numbers between the Quad LCD and the mobile app. I tried searching but couldn't find the answers. It's not drastic but I would think the numbers would line up. I'm getting around 2-3 yard carry differences on most shots I have tried setting the quad elevation to my elevation and also sea level. There are still differences. Any ideas?

Its due to auto altimeter and thermometer built in for your Quad. FSX doesn’t account for where you are at right now. Try turning that off in Quad on screen menu. I also see about 1-3yd difference.

Could be an altitude issue, as Leomode says, but I also wouldn’t trust FSX mobile. Haven’t found it reliable in the slightest, has so many little bugs.

Thanks for the replies. I set the altitude to sea level and got closer. There’s still 1-2 yard discrepancies. Good to know I should be focusing on the quad lcd.
