Alternative to net for practicing chipping and putting indoors

Ceilings are too short in the basement and garage to play so I use a Net return peo outdoors with the GC2. But i was thinking, I could practice chipping and putting indoors.

Besides a net, what else could I use to stop chip shots, would like to pratice 10 or 20 yard chip shots, nothing high like flop shots.

I have a real screen backed by a memory foam mattress topper, 3” thick. I tried hitting into the foam alone just to learn and it really absorbed the ball flight power and the ball dropped dead at the bottom. King size weighs 40 lbs or so you’ll need to devise a way to hang it from a rod/EMT/pipe. Just a thought.

I have an area in my basement with short ceilings. I just hung a painters tarp for chipping and it's completely fine.
