  • Activating Courses in FSX 2020 and Transferring Courses from FR1

Hi All - Rookie here so apologies if this is a dumb question. Just recently upgraded to FSX 2020 from FR1 and pulled the trigger on purchasing Coeur d'Alene over the weekend. I received the download file via e-mail (incorrect version, but went to FSX website and found 3.0). When I open FSX I'm seeing the course in the software but it's showing as not purchased. Is there something here I'm not doing correctly or is there something that needs to happen on Foresight's end to associate the course with my license?

Also wondering if anyone upgrading from FR1/FSX has had any luck in talking to Foresight and having courses migrated over from their old library? Or if not, then perhaps gotten a discount if having to re-purchase? I had Monterrey Beach/Glass in my FR1 library but the current $1,000 retail price for the two seems steep.

    Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure the courses need to be linked to your FSX Live account - I know mine are all listed there and it tells me if they are activated or not as well.

I have a decent size course library for my FR1 and was also wondering if they would transfer over to FSX 2020.

No transfer, different software and quality (vhs -> DVD) hehe.
Foresight will not give you any course credits against FSX courses.
