Hey guys just wondering what you have been getting for full 60 degree wedge shots. I typically see 10K RPMS in FSX and when the ball lands it spins back what appears to be a foot or two. Does this happen with you all? How does this compare to your real life results?

What launch angle do you average with your 60 degree wedge?
i usually get between 10,000 to 11,000 rpm and launch angle in the lower to mid 30 degrees, but dont get a foot or two of backspin, it usually stops and backs up a few inches on a flat green. -
I aim for about 30 degree launch angle. Perhaps its only a foot at the most and not 2 feet. My perception could be off. Still getting used to the scale on the greens.Originally posted by SimGolf84 View Post

I’m shocked too how accurate it is since I don’t usually see a 60 degree rip off the green in real life. Was wondering if I was doing something wrong considering my numbers look great on the GC2 but figured it would spin more. When I played the Trackman Par 3 course a few months ago the ball was spinning back quite a bit based on their software algorithm.Comment

The quad is spot on on the spin reading. A foot or so with 10-11k spin is about what it typically does, but it also depends on your green settings and also on where you are playing (course vs range).
also, if you use balls a lot, they tend to leave a slight residue on your club face and if you leave it there, you will lose about 50% of that spin.Comment
