So the first year with the GCQuad has been amazing. It's an unbelievable machine. However, there have been a couple of issues that are starting to drive me nuts that have been going on for approximately 4 to 5 weeks.
1st Issue - Random disconnection. The unit will just lose connection during a game or range session. Here is the thing though, the yellow circle with red exclamation point doesn't come up, it still says the connection is there, but the communication between software and device drop out. For example, when I roll the ball to the hitting area, and nothing shows on the hitting screen through the software. What makes it worse is when I go in to re-connect, it won't grab again. I have to not only leave the session, I have to leave the software completely and go back in again from the Windows screen. This happens probably once or twice during a 45 minute to 1 hour session.
2nd issue - Misreads. I don't think in my first year with FSX18, I had one misread like this. Everything was flawless. What happens is, when I strike the ball, there is a small 1 second delay, then the ball floats way up in the air with no spin, and sits up in the air for a while, then floats like 380 yards off of a 7 iron.
Any help would be appreciated! I have gone back and forth with Foresight tech support. They have been pretty helpful. They want to do a screenshare when I call next so they can dig into it a little more.
