    FSX Skills Challenge

I've started doing the skills challenge after every practice/range session a few times as a way to really practice under pressure. I have to say it's awesome for putting pressure on every shot! I regret never doing it before, but I think I took it too seriously (telling myself that "I'm not good enough to do it yet). Kind of like avoiding exercise today because you're going to "do it tomorrow". In my opinion it's some of the best improvement/practice available in simulator golf.

If any FSX users aren't incorporating it into your practice you're missing out! My best is only 39 points so still loads of improvement needed, but far better than the 19-20 I was averaging a few weeks ago.

I agree. I really love the Skills Challenges and have been working my way up the monthly leaderboards - it's really competitive though.

It seems so easy on the surface, 8 out of the 14 shots are 150 yards of less, but those 10 yard to 60 yard shots drive me nuts.

But it has really helped improve my short game and as a result my up and down % has gone up.

Haven’t used it but you’ve inspired me to give it a go!

          39 points is pretty good.
I think the record is 64 points

There is a HUGE difference between 39 and 64 points. Like going from a 7 handicap to a 1. I’d say 10-39 is easier than 39-64!

              Yeah, of course.
But 39 is a pretty decent score.
Close to a 3pt average per shot.

64 is an incredible score and Peter Finch got pretty obsessed with setting the highest ever score, which he finally did.
