Is Carnoustie holes 16-18 the toughest finish in golf?

Holes 1 - 15 aren't terribly difficult assuming no severe weather, but geez those last 3 holes are brutal from the tips:

    Hole 16: 260 yard par 3
Hole 17: 460 yard par 4, toughest tee shot in golf in my opinion
    Hole 18: 500 yard par 4

Would like others opinions on the toughest closing 3 holes in golf.

I don't have Carnoustie on FSX2020... But the Green Mile finish at Quail Hollow is my favorite finish of the courses I have... That drive on 18 is impossible... Can't miss anywhere

I posted this a couple of weeks ago after a round on Carnoustie 3.0:

I did finish par-par-birdie in real life. WOOT! Probably never to be repeated on what may be the most brutal finishing stretch in golf. (I set wind at 10mph; today it was behind on 16 and 18; with the opposite wind I don't think Jack Nicklaus could go under par on those holes.)

Never played in real life but went bogey, par, par yesterday and was jumping for joy.

I've played IRL from the back tees (you can't play the championship tees normally), I was only 6 over, then went double, triple, double. The holes are tough, but my swing completely fell apart, my knee was bothering me and it caught up.

I'm sorry, the context of my post was lost in the quote above. "In real life" here meant what I actually shot on the holes in FSX, as opposed to what FSX was showing on my scorecard (net score). My FSX scorecard showed 64; what I actually shot (I figured out later) was 77, including that par-par-birdie finish.

I have played Carnoustie in real life, once. I was in the low 90s if I recall. Tough course.

I fired up Carnoustie today (the updated version) and while playing from the gold tees I got a lie penalty on the 9th box! I went ahead and hit driver and sure enough it only carried about 75% of what the Quad said I hit it. 🤦‍♂️

          Anyone else experience that?

Haven't seen that happen yet, but haven't played the gold tees either.

I reported the bug to Foresight and they subsequently released a new version. Haven’t tested to see if that bug was fixed.
