439yds? I just don't believe it without some kind of hack. Show me a video and I might believe it, lol.

I was playing yesterday and hit my 3 wood 460 yards. Haha that was about 200 yards further than my absolutely furthest shot with it in the past. Not saying the drive was a misread like my 3 wood but just thought it was funny.
    Lay-ups are for basketball!

Why don;t you believe it? There are some people who can drive it that far... long drive specialists... they'd be more likely to compete in these monthly online tournaments I would imagine.

I've read that GC2 overestimates shots with high launch, low spin. I've hit some 350 with ball speeds in mid 160's, launch angles between 14 and 15 degrees, and 1500 rpm backspin. Flightscope optimizer shows these parameters should produce a shot of 315 yards with hard surface and 630' of elevation.

Playing today for first time in real life since using GC2, can't wait to see how close my yardages are.

I have had shots go straight up in the air like a plane and go 400+. Glitch obviously, lol.

I’m not saying this to disparage anyone or come off as a accusatory.

There’s nothing being monitored in these online events, no driver regs, tee heights, grease on faces, long shafts, hot golf balls...

I’m currently sitting in the top 10 of the current contest, I have some speed but It’s certainly not world class long drive speed and I know at least 2 guys that hit it by me. I think I could find another 5 to 10% doing some sketchy things... simply putting chapstick on the face might do that.

all that said, Kyle Berkshire posted on Instagram that he’s regularly hitting 155 mph with his current training, I can cheat all I want and I’ll never touch that or any of the guys he’s competing against. World class speed in golf is no different than world class speed like Usain Bolt, it’s so incredible it defies logic. I think the same can be said for the guy who posted the winning yardage online, that dudes got some serious horsepower.

my 16 year old son (who doesn't golf) hit one 430 on the range the other day. There has to be some glitch in 2020. He has never hit over 300 before. I didn't think to look at the screen of the quad to see what it said.

99.9% of shots look correct. This has only happened once. I just know there is no way he hit one that far

I played 9 holes yesterday in real life, chipping and irons were spot on with yardages I see in GC2. Driver and 3 wood were both in the ball park of what I see in GC2. GC2 may be a little generous with high launch, low spin, but not much.

I played 100+ holes last week on a golf trip after not playing outside for awhile. My conclusion is that GCQ is not overestimating driver carry in any noticeable way. Shows me low 260's carry on a good, solid drive. On my trip, I rolled out to 300 a number of times (once to 315) and I also carried bunkers and doglegs requiring around that amount of carry. I realize this is not apples to apples, and conditions play a role, but I can assure you that I'm carrying much more than 238-245ish that the flightscope optimizer shows based upon the same numbers. In fact, I was usually 30 yards further than those in my group who by all appearances were carrying those types of numbers. After this, I'm not concerned at all about accuracy of driver carry.

Not sure about cheating and misreads, but Mitch from Foresight Canada hits it 350+ for real.

Haha, I've been a complete mess with my fairway wood lately and noticed that if I top it, which has sadly been happening, it goes FAR FAR FAR!

They need to fix that, but there are plenty of people who can hit it that far. It also helps where you aim. It does not have to be in the fairway.
