What is it with these guys? Buy it back for $2500 and turn around to sell as cpo for $4900. That is some BS.

Wow, this escalated quickly.

i think the original post has some merit and I think it’s ridiculous he gets chastised for posting it.There are conversations every day on here that focus on system costs, resale value, legitimate sellers, legitimate buyers, opportunity costs, and on and on.

I was pretty surprised by the trade in offered by foresight to upgrade to a quad. I trade cars in all the time, I didn’t take foresight’s offer. I hadn’t had my units even 12 months and I was offered about half my purchase price and they didn’t discount the quad. I would have taken what I considered reasonable but I couldn’t take that. I decided to take my chances selling online to strangers on the internet rather than the security of foresight.

Clearly there are people who don’t want to mess with selling to strangers too because they sell a ton of CPO units. Foresight posts pics of custom home installs that probably cost $50k+. I’m pretty sure those guys aren’t sweating a few grand on trade in values.

Trade in values are generally not tasty for anything execpt this fr1 dongle trade in was very tasty for FSX2020. .
