Just got a GC2 to work on my short irons and short game. Have the range and one course. Would love advice from those of u who have improved your game with a LM on how to practice.

Short game and specialty shots are where i really think the foresight products shine. I didn't set out to rebuild my shortage this winter, but I ended up doing it just by practicing different shots on the range that I previously didn't have. I follow guys on instagram like Andrew Rice, Mike Malaska, James Ridyard, Stan Utley, and "Golf Better Tucson", they post short videos daily or weekly, not always short game, but a lot. typically 2-3 minutes and i watch those and I think i can go out and try that right now and see what the ball is doing.
I learned how to flight the ball lower with my wedges, under 30* launch with more spin with a lob wedge from 60 yards and in. I learned how to spin short chip by intentionally hitting them off the toe . One of them posted a video of Tiger Woods explaining how he hits that short pitch from about 40 yards that spins back and hard right. How tiger will throw the club out and across from the top to hit a shot, drag the handle on another, finish low with an open face, slam the face closed... just trying different things and seeing not only what the ball does on the screen but what the actual numbers are.
i added 4 or 5 short game shots this winter, my first with a sim, and I use my new shots far more often now than I do my old ones. who doesn't like hitting low spinning wedges? I hit a lot of high floaters (unintentionally) in the past, lower is better if you can do it.
finally, James Sieckman's instagram isn't worth following and he has a couple of decent videos out there but I think he wrote the best short game book available.
