FSX putting formulas or rule of thumbs?

Any math formulas or rule of thumbs for how much harder of softer you hit a putt depending on slope?

For example, if you have a 10 foot putt that is 6" uphill, how many feet would you add to it? Or 6" downhill how much would you take off?

Obviously speed of the greens will be a huge variable as well.

I just go by feel. But 6 inches uphill on a 10-footer is very steep. That becomes like a 15-footer. And 6 inches down on a 10-footer is just-barely-touch-it slick.

Yeah, just takes getting used to. Go to a course green while under practice mode and hit some 10 foot putts and get a feel for that distance and slowly increase it. Like for me, a 10ft putt hits my screen gently so I can visualize the length in increments of my screen. Also, don't change the aim lone for putting. Just aim the putt to the left or right.
