Does anyone know how to load FSX2020 courses onto a drive different than C? My C drive is a low capacity SSD and used only for operating system. I was able to install FSX2020 to my E drive, but cannot load the course there. I downloaded the course file, then tried to run the execute, but my C doesn't have enough space.

sounds like it’s stored in windows registry the course location, could have a look there and change C to E. But most likely Foresight have broken standard windows development rules and hard coded the course path!
SSD...getting cheaper as had same problem with moving OneDrive 1tb account so cloned ssd to a 1.5tb SSD

I just had this issue a couple weeks back. I could not figure it out. Ended up buying a 1TB ssd and cloned my Cdrive over to that. Now I have plenty of space with all of foresight still on the c drive. I’m sure you experienced this but you cannot have the application on a different drive than the courses. It will not boot the courses.Lay-ups are for basketball!

vrpunkHubbahub32 I have never cloned a drive before, how hard is this to do and not mess up the login? All of my boot up and operating system is on the C drive SSD. When I clone, should everything copy over as is?

I had never done it either. I am definitely not a computer person. It was super easy though. Make sure you buy the same spec hard drive, just larger to make sure it fits. Then you need to buy a case or way to make the transfer between drives. You then use a program to clone the old drive onto the new drive. It takes a while but copies everything. Then you just replace the hard drive in the computer and you are good to go. I will try and find the website that walked me through how to do it. It was super simple.Lay-ups are for basketball!

I use Easeus products for cloning /partitioning.
it is very easy to do. You can do it whilst in windows, but I prefer when the clone software creates a bootable usb pen-drive and you boot directly to easy to follow clone software.
good luck

I have the same issue. Don't know why, but when I brought my computer several years ago, I had a C drive and a E driver. The C drive has limited space so it is almost full while the E drive has a ton of space. The FXS2020 runs from the E drive. I courses are downloaded on the C drive. I install them there as well. Next, I open the courses on my E drive and copy them over from the C drive. After I make sure they are working, I go back and delete the down loaded courses from my C drive. Its a pain but once I figured out how to do it, it isn't so bad.

This was my plan but for some reason, i don't have enough space on C to even install the course. I'm going to try and first delete anything on the C that shouldn't be there and then see if i can get it to work and if not, I'll head down the path of the cloning.
