GC Quad with FSX

I’m looking at purchasing a GC quad from Foresight but am wondering do I need the FSX2020 software or is there other software that is available. I heard that there’s a possibility of E6 but then I saw a uTube video showing TGC on quad.
obviously I don’t want to spend 3k on the FSX2020 software If that money could be spent on better alternative software.

I thought they made you buy FSX with a new quad purchase? Maybe you don't have to buy fsx2020 with a used quad purchase.

They make you purchase one with a new GCQuad for sure. I had no option. You might be able to get around it if you already have a copy. Like purchasing someone's copy on the forum sale page.

They made you buy FSX?! They certainly didn’t make me and they really can’t. The Quad can be purchased stand alone and used with the iPad fitting app. At one point FSX was the only sim software option though, but that’s changed with TGC

Thanks for the replies. I purchased it today with the FSX2020 software so looking forward to it arriving.
