Basic Newbie question

I don't own GC2 or GC Quad, so please excuse the ignorance. If I was to buy one, just the hardware, without any addon modules (FSX, Head measurement etc), would I still be able to link it to TGC2019?
Or, to put it another way, what is the minimum Foresight product(s) I have to buy to play simulated golf on TGC 2019? What would I be missing out on?

I'm pretty sure you can't buy the GCquad without also buying the FSX software. Foresight sports doesn't support TGC software. So additional work is required to run it

They will work with TGC with just the hardware and nothing else.

Not sure where you are, but on the UK website FSX2020 is optional for the quad, but mandatory for the GC2.

if you want E6 FSX needs to be bought first. if you want putter,club head or the driving range you need FSX.
If you are only going to run TGW2019 i suppose it can work without fsx but without support it is just assumed
