Alignment Stick Replacement

Hi All,

I have got a line on buying a GCQuad but it doesnt have the alignment stick. Has anyone used / made a replacement that works with the quad? The replacement from foresight seems really expensive!

for a white stick it seems really expensive. it is nothing more than one of those collapsible tent poles(only shorter)

It works as long as it’s white？if that’s the case, they are really trying to screw their customers here by charging 10x the price for their accessories. Even Apple doesn’t do that.

well i have no idea if there is more to it than that but it does not look like anything special

It’s got a reflective type finish so it’s not dimply white. I haven’t tried it but I think a simple driveway marker and some reflective tape might work.

You can buy two third party ones for $60 on eBay and the description says they are wrapped in reflective tape, so I would imagine you could do the same thing for less

you might also try some silver/white reflective spray paint... krylon makes some

I've never even used mine. I only use my GCQuad indoors, so I don't have any issues with alignment.

I had to do this as well. Paint one Reflective White. Worked fine. Saved me $100 +
