GC2 Ball Placement Area

Does this look right for the area in which the ball is detected by the GC2? I get the same area with the protective cover on and off. I've tried putting the GC2 at different heights above the mat, that doesn't make a difference.

That seems odd for sure. Make the the front feet under the GC2 are folded up and under the unit. It essentially rests on that little door that latches to the top when closed.

The front feet are definitely in the correct position. Here's a pic showing the ball in the corners of the hitting area per the GC2 screen, all are just outside the recognition area. I guess I was expecting the hitting area to be a little bigger. The one that concerns me is the upper right quadrant. That one seems way off. It does the same thing both on and off the board, so I don't it's that.

Why don;t you try putting the GC2 at the same level as the ball. From your pictures it seems you have the LM on a piece of plywood
