  • GCQuad Numbers

I noticed today during a session that my numbers on my GCQuad screen are way different than the numbers that show up on my laptop ball and club data. I've never really noticed them being off by so much. Any ideas why? Could my settings be off? I couldn't get any photos to upload, so here are the numbers.

    GCQuad Screen- Club 96.5, Path 4.0 In-out, 136 ball speed, 235 carry, 20.8 launch, 1659 spin
Ball Data on laptop- Ball speed 136, 251 carry, 1659 spin
Club data on laptop- Club 90.6, path 3.5 in-out, 127 ball speed, 211 carry, 27.3 launch, 1775 spin

I’ve never seen anything more than rounding error differences. You running FSX2020 on the laptop?

Have certainly seen differences between the Quad and FSX Mobile, which is another reason why I think it’s a POS.

Yes, I am running FSX2020. Yeah, I'm not liking what I am seeing.

you probably have FSX showing average and not last.

i have never noticed that. and i usually check both at 1 time or another. I would also see if you have average instead of last

I think I might have average selected instead of last. I didn't even think about that. I'll check tonight. Thanks everyone!

We noticed the Quad display and FSPerformance app showed different data, example carry distance. Although the differences were minimal in a couple of yards, it raised the question: which is the most accurate (Quad display or FSPerformance app)? And is there a reason why?

Foresight Sports Response: The Quad has a built in barometer, so you want to use that number for down range information when on site at an event. The App is set for sea level.
