    GC2 case for LH/RH play

Making a prototype case for LH/RH play.
Will have handle and alignment aid to line up with edge of hitting strip for easy moving back and forth for righties, and those that aren't right.
Gc2 will not move around in the case. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
Will let you guys know how it turns out.

well the prototype is coming along slowly, but coming along. No handle yet, and the slide out alignment part isn't finished yet. Work in progress.

That looks great, I am planning on doing something very similar using magnets on the base that you would sit on the left/right of the hitting mat then metal plates on the GC2 case so that the alignment "snaps" when you move it from side to side.

see a guy do that with a turntable version of this.

Here is the updated build as of yesterday. Slow and steady wins the race, lol. Will try it out this week sometime and report back how it works.

Looks great! A few questions, as I'm looking to do the same.
                    - What thickness dowels did you use?
                    - For alignment, do you place an alignment stick on top of those swing-out arms, or just use those arms as a visual?
                    - What are those wedge shaped pieces for towards the front of where the GC2 would sit? Does that hold it in place side to side?

                    Thanks!
