Easier fsx courses with wide fairways?

What are some recommended easier courses with wide fairways for those of us less gifted golfers?

Pelican Hill has some very generous fairways and corridors but the greens are pretty severe.

Why not turn off lie penalty?

Even with lie penalty turned on, most courses are not that punitive in my view. You get lots of "flier chance" which seems to make the ball jump 10-15% and check less, and "lie penalty" which takes off around 20% of your distance. Both playable and IMO turning off lie penalty altogether is removing things too far from actual golf. There has to be some benefit from hitting the fairway and keeping it in play.

If you do not want anything overly punitive, what you want to avoid are courses with very tight and dense trees that can be hard to escape (like Valderrama), where Severe Lie Penalty -- minus half to two-thirds of your distance -- is regularly in play (like Carnoustie), or where the greens are severely sloped (Pebble Beach, Valderrama for example). Those are the three hardest FSX courses I have played.

Pebble Beach greens are ridiculous. Some pin placements are borderline impossible.

Thanks for that, I guess i need to watch some mmlincon course flyovers to get an idea of courses with wider fairways(non tight/dense tree lines) to get an idea of some courses I would consider easier. I autoputt so I'm not as concerned with the greens.
