Gc2 kiosk questions

Hello,
can someone please tell me what limitations the gc2 kiosk would have over a stand alone unit? Would I be able to run software other than fxs? Would I be able to play the online leagues? Would I be able to add aftermarket discs with many courses? If anyone could fill me in on anything I might need to know as facts the difference and limitations this might have, I would appreciate it extremely!!!

Yes, same question. Also can I hook up a projector screen in addition to touchscreen. I just bought it as it comes with FSX 2020 during the sale but wonder the same thing. Worst case I use the license and run it on my GC2 stand-alone .. but love the set up for nfl games.. play on the kiosk and watch games on big hitting screen.

It has HDMI but only has USB connectivity. No Bluetooth and no wifi so you would be limited to just fsx. the PC in the kiosk is only 2014 specs

Add to this- if you ever make a left handed friend that wants to play, it won't work. That said, the price is pretty darn good...

Ok is I can run a cable to a projector, that’s a great deal

it states it will be FSX 2020. How is that possible with 14 specs... and do you know if FSX online play is supported?

not sure how it could not be as that is a feature in fsx

I think they might have changed the description of the GC2-K because now it says it includes FSX 2018. The back panel opens up and you can swap out the graphics card with a new one. It also has Bluetooth so yes you can play TGC 2019 with it too.

Wow if that’s the case I think it’s a great deal! I have a stand-alone GC2 that I don’t need anymore then... it was a crap shoot with the kiosk but hopefully it works out. I love TGC but was eyeing FSX for game improvement so maybe I can figure out best of both worlds. I saw E6 too for foresight ... so many variable 🤗

I’ve used a setup where the GC2-K was connected via Bluetooth to a dedicated computer running TGC2019 through the projector while FSX range was displayed on the kiosk screen showing the raw ball data and swing cam playback.

Yes, that is a great idea and I was wondering about it.

i just talked to a tech support guy that was super helpful. It comes with 2020 installed which is great and has a WiFi module so I can use full 2020 functionality. I think the swing can is not installed but I hope I cam add one as I like the feature.

two options

1 what u just stated which is Genius (Bluetooth to TGC machine and projector.
2 I have a buddy upgrade the PC and put everything on it incl maybe e6


i think option 1 is great with my existing gaming laptop and TGC, display that on my impact screen while seeing the fsx details on touch screen.

damn I am happy about that purchase now and can’t wait to play with it. Fun set up when friends come over...

someone in discord called foresight yesterday and they stated no BT no wifi on the kiosk itself. I am sure the pc has wifi or easily add a dongle. I have no idea how accurate that statement is since it is second hand

Thanks! The guys earlier mentioned WiFi is enabled but assuming neither are I should be able to add it to the PC. Either way 3k for the kiosk incl FSX 2020 seems to good to be true.
