Another thing to check is the temps on your graphics card and cpu. If they are getting too hot they will slow down.

I can check! I do appreciate all the suggestions for sure. Checking to make sure my water cooled i9-9900k and triple fan ROG STRIX 2080 TI aren’t overheated running FSX is the equivalent of suggesting that a dually diesel one ton might not be enough truck to haul a push mower back from Home Depot though.

Yeah, just trying to think of anything that could cause it to slow down after a while. I think task manager is going to reveal the cause though.

Maybe there was an other issue, there is a big feature update from Microsoft on it´s way these day 20H2, maybe you have Windows Update enabled to install automatically in the background?
