FSX2020 Scramble Mode - Weird "Gimme" Issue

Three of us played Meadows GC last night in scramble mode. All of us were on the same team. A couple of times a weird issue occurred whereby the best shot in the fairway would have "gimme" next to it. It was selected once and it gave us an eagle for the par 4. (We were 115 yards away from the green!) When it happened again, we had to select a different person's shot so as to not get the gimme.

Anyone else experience this?

I can’t get mine to work In scramble mode, as soon as it comes up after players hit to select the shot I get an error and it crashed. I have never transferred ownership so I can’t get foresight support

I bought FSX2020 from foresight so I should get support. I'll try it sometime and see what happens. If it doesn't work I'll call them.

Wizard of Coz, that would be awesome. I don't know if it's a computer issue on my end or something else. I don't have a large C drive and it's difficult to install on a different drive. I probably should upgrade to win10, but everything else works and I don't want to mess up TGC in doing so. i know i would have to go through the process of getting a new code to do so.

It is an issue for them. It's been going on for over a year and they are well aware but don't seem to want to do anything about it. Please call them and complain. I play a lot of scramble mode with friends and it's impossible to get a competitive game because of it.

This has been an issue for way more than a year. Way back to original FSX. I don't see this getting fixed because I don't think they have a clue why it happens. Doesn't make much sense. When it happens to us we just select the non gimmie shot. Hopefully this will be gone with the new engine in 2021.
