Skytrak to GCQuad

Current Skytrak/TGC 2019 user. I have recently been thinking about upgrading to a GC Quad and I have been browsing the forms/internet without a real solid answer. Will I be able to use TGC2019 with GCQuad? It looks like there is a work around for the GC2 but I have yet to find anything real concrete about GCQuad. If TGC is compatible, do you need the FSX software package as well?

I am sure this has been discussed but I have been unable to find it.. Appreciate any insight on this or upgrading to GC Quad from skytrak, etc..

I have a quad. Want to add TGC2019. Did this work for you or are you still thinking about the quad?

Yes. I made the switch from Skytrak to GCQuad earlier this year. I purchased TGC2019 from the Skytrak store and was able to transfer it over to the Quad with zero issues. You will love the Quad. It is amazing!

Are these the correct steps? I have a quad and want to add TGC2019.

Yes, I followed the steps in that discussion and it works. The first few times I started things out of sequence and got frustrated. When I slowed down and followed the instructions, then it has worked perfectly ever since.
