    GC2 - Failed CPU Board

So I sent my device in to Foresight for repairs and they finally got back to me. They say the CPU Board Failed and that it costs $1,248 to replace. Seems a pretty high cost but don't think I have much of a choice as it completely doesn't work as is. They also said they are upgrading the firmware to 4.0.0.15 and also doing an N3 Upgrade.

Does anybody know what the N3 Upgrade is? Would that have any impact on using TGC with my GC2 once I get it back?

    Thanks.

N3 upgrade is your flash power board. It won’t affect using TGC. Unfortunately if any component on the CPU board goes bad, they tend to just replace the whole thing rather than troubleshoot the board with means $$$. I think they are pretty busy these days since they have to operate at reduced capacity too, which probably means they are trying to just get repairs done as quickly as possible.
