Just saw the email that it is out and available for download. Have not tried it yet. Looks like you must have a relatively new version of iPad. Time to visit an Apple Store.

I just tried to use it with the latest iPad Air (4th gen) and got an error that FSX Pro is not supported on this device. Go figure.Originally posted by vrpunk View PostI have an old one and it works, its more "optimised" for newer versions. (there covering themselves if performance is poor).
Also no GC2 bluetooth support at moment only quad...sure it will come.

I don't see them doing any further work on the dated FSX mobile App, will be developing Pro further with camera integration and cloud support and I can see in the database code that there is blank data fields for games, presume something like trackman combine.

Buying an iPad so I can use FSX Pro at the range. Is there a list somewhere which states which versions of iPad are compatible? Not supporting newer versions makes little sense to me .....
and this is what is posted on the email .... so I am really confused ......or was it corrected with updates? I see at least three versions on the app store saying they fixed connection issues ......
"FSX Pro iPad is optimized for the following devices: iPad Pro (all generations) iPad (2019 and later generations) iPad Air (2019 and later generations) iPad Mini (5th generation)
FSX Pro iPad will also run on the following devices: iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 4, iPad (2017, 2018)."Last edited by jasonreg; 03-29-2021, 03:52 PM.

I should have followed up on this message. I spoke to customer support twice. Second time I called cause I thought my GCQuad's wifi had an issue and that's why I couldn't connect. End result was that my Quad was fine and it was just a bug in the App. They updated the App shortly thereafter and it works great now. A couple of features that I feel like are missing but I'm sure they'll continue to improve. To your question, I think any device from 2019 to most recent will be a safe bet. You can probably score a good deal on a previous model IPad Pro and that that should work well.Originally posted by jasonreg View PostBuying an iPad so I can use FSX Pro at the range. Hey i have two questions regarding this app. When doing a hitting session is there any way to email the report to somebody from the ipad app? I see the export option but the only real things you can do is airdrop to another iphone or print. If i am on the golf course and want to send the session to somebody email would be the best option. Is this available?
Also is there any way to look up a previous session and export? I have two players in my account, i see three sessions each. How do you access a historical session? I airdroped one but the guy accidently closed the browser tab on his phone so I need to export it again. Is there any way to do this from the app? If not does it save the results to my FSX account and can i look these sessions up on my computer?
BTW, Seems to work on my ipad Mini BTW which I believe is a Gen4. I will update this post if its an earlier version.
TIA.
