    Numbers topic

    Numbers numbers numbers.

What you think of these numbers? Especcially i mean club head, ball speed and effiency. Does they look wrong?
    Shot with 9-iron.

    Yes those are weird numbers.
    • 100 mph is exceptionally fast clubhead speed for a 9i. PGA tour average is less than 90. Either it's a misread or you swing really really fast.
    • 1.14 smash is low for a 9i. Suggests you did not hit it well. Did you hit this thin?
    • -9.3 AoA is very steep down. You could do it but that is not where you should be at. No more than -6.
    • Also the backspin is low for a 9i, particularly with high clubhead speed. Should be 8000-9000.
Suggest using 4 dots and posting a more representative shot.

Yeah, ditto on the above. Maybe you just had one readable dot on the toe (will register faster because of closure rate).

I can only remember PGA average for a pitching wedge was 83 mph with a 1.23 smash factor. Can’t recall what a 9 iron was, but likely 2 or 3 mph faster with a slightly higher smash.

With a 51m pull left with a 9 iron, I’m not sure this would be the best shot to analyse to be honest. Not unless that is a stock shot .....

It's a misread on the clubhead speed. That's very poor efficiency if you really do have a 100mph ballspeed.

Hey guys. Thank you for all the answers. The reason i posted is that i was suspicious about club speed. Looking to high. And i am dumb. Forgot to mention that i was trying to max out 9 iron. i started around 85 mph and gradually got speed up to 100m. Picture has no purpose of analyzing shot. Question only was if this number looks real.

If you started at 85 (which is right for a normal swing) and were getting consistent numbers going upward as you were trying to max the speed, then 100mph for a 9i is not inconceivable.

Judging from the other numbers and the result, that may not be a swing you want to bring out onto the golf course however.

Looks like you figured out a way to turn a 9 iron into a hooked 6 iron. Are you sure you didn't read the number upside down?
I cannot imagine how anyone could swing in to out and still have a super-steep AoA. In to out tends to be shallowing rather than steepening.
I can only imagine some sort of downward chop with massively closed face to path that then pops the ball out without much backspin. If it's really a 9 iron then the launch angle would imply massive forward shaft lean at impact.
Either that or the Foresight device is all out of alignment or on the side of a hill or otherwise messed up.

My biggest problem is super steep AoA and dont know how to fix it. And yes i did not read the number upside down.
                Working...
