I've been using my GC2/HMT for a year now, I actually bought it from my local golf club who had been using it for about 3 years. All was working fine but today I start it and it comes up with an initialization error code 4 and shuts down.
This happened when the monitor was plugged in (power) and the USB cable was plugged in to the computer, as well as the cable to the HMT unit.
I then unplugged everything and tried to switch it on (using the battery) but got the same error.
Do you think this could be a battery issue?
I don't think the battery has been discharged at any time, I know I certainly haven't and the date on the bootup says 2015 so it must be about 5-6 years old.
I cannot find anywhere online that has a list of error codes and what they mean.
If you do think it's the battery where can I get one from?
