It appears that Foresight has prevented the FSX Pro app on the iPad from being Airplayed (or Screen Mirrored). I really don't understand this licensing restriction. Can someone explain it to me or can you circumvent this restriction by using a Firewire-> HDMI dongle on the iPad?
My ultimate goal is to have the Driving Range on my Projector and a persistent Club Analysis page shown on my wall TV. I had hoped that I could accomplish this using the Dual Monitor mode of FSX2020, but the software doesn't really understand how people would use a 2nd monitor configuration. FSX2020 will show the Analysis on the 2nd monitor (in my case the TV on the wall), but it isn't persistent. After the time expires (3,5,7,10) it returns to the Range view.
This makes perfect sense in a single monitor configuration, but I can't conceive of a time that someone would need to range view shown on both the primary and secondary monitors. If that is really what they wanted they would have just replicated the monitor and not extended it to a 2nd monitor.
If FSX2020 had the ability to persist the analysis page on the 2nd monitor, it would be great. In my case if they would allow you to see a longer timer, like 99 I could make it would work for me. In my case, I am only interested in persisting Club Analysis data as the Range Tiles give me all of the Ball data.
I realize that there are multiple tabs to the Analysis page (Video, Ball, Club, Table) and you can't persist them all, but if you could sequence the order the tabs are shown and then the last tab was persisted if it is on a 2nd monitor, I think it would be such a better setup.
Again my Airplay question would be mute if the 2nd Monitor worked as desired, but the FSX Pro on the iPad solution would get around the limitation if I could cast it to my TV.
