  • Connecting Quad to PC using wifi

Just got the Quad and I am having trouble connecting the PC using wifi. I did a search and someone said maybe the router has a different frequency. I called Foresight and the tech there said I should get a wifi stick and attach it to the computer. Will the wifi stick work or does anyone have another solution? It works fine when I connect with the cable.

You can’t attach PC to GCQuad and your WI-FI at the same time. You need a second WI-FI card.
My PC connects to the internet by Ethernet cable and PC connects to GCQuads WI-FI

Wow, I didn’t know that. Without sounding stupid, can I put another wifi card in my computer?

Thank you. I am not seeing that on my computer. For some reason, the Quad isn't connecting to my wifi. I have been on the phone with my internet provider trying to figure it out with no success

The Quad does not connect to your wifi. The Quad broadcasts its own wifi channel, that your pc connects to.

Finally got everything working. Thanks for the all of the help. I got a WiFi adapter and it came up on the computer. Then followed Foresight instructions. I also had to connect the computer to ethernet.
