I just got this response from Swingsense about the purchase of the ProTee 2.0 and TGC sim software:
"When you purchase ProTee Golf 2.0 software online from the SwingSense website, you will receive download links for ProTee Golf 2.0. With your ProTee Golf 2.0 software purchase a full TGC Simulator license is included. You need to send an email to support@protee-united.com and
the helpdesk will send you all the TGC download instructions (TGC uses a separate download and registration process).
So to answer your questions: Yes, TGC sim software is included with ProTee Golf 2.0 software or any ProTee Base Pack purchase.
Also included with your online purchase is 1 remote support service call for max 1 hour (to be used within 14 days of your purchase). For example if you need help with the installation, we can logon to your computer and help with the configuration/installation."
There has been quite a bit of talk over the last couple weeks on this and other forums about new GC2 buyers now not being able to purchase and use the TGC software because Swingsense was now only offering TGC to people also purchasing the ProTee hardware or the hardware of other partners' hardware -- not Foresight hardware. This talk was apparently based on things that had been posted by them on this forum and others?
I didn't specifically ask Swingsense yet if the ProTee and TGC software was compatible with a GC2. I didn't tell them I was interested in using a GC2 with their software yet. I was afraid to do any of that for fear I was finding a "loophole" in their system at this point and didn't want to alert them to that.
Do I have to get the GSX software from Swingsense or can I get it from this forum? What is the advice of the other members on this? Do I tell them what I'm planning to do (using the GC2) so I can make sure everything will work now and in the future or do I quickly buy the software and download everything so I can get it before they close the "loophone" if that's what this is?
