  • Advice on ForeSight Eagle Package Simulator

I was lucky to jump on the Costco Eagle package when it was $4000 off yesterday (total of $16000 + tax). I called foresight to ask about differences and I guess their website sells the plus package which includes club analysis ($4000 extra). Who here is happy with the setup? We are building new home but wont be ready for year and a half. I was just researching and saw the deal so figured I could test it out and return if dont like it. My fear is all these new launch monitors costing 99% less but time will tell on the quality/accuracy. The Quad is cool to be portable but we have young kids so I really wanted it to be able to do multisport and requires the Hawk. Foresight wouldnt let me trade in for cost and pay difference. They also said 4k option for enclosure and padding to upgrade to albatross required for the Hawk setup. I see there is quad on ebay for 11k so if wanted to upgrade I can still get a good chunk of money for the quad.
Is there any other upgrades people would recommend?
I want to make dual purpose home theater/golf sim so will definitely either upgrade projector to work for both or use two of them. The cart is also going to be ditched with something more permanent.

Not sure what you would upgrade except the projector and computer it comes with. All the rest is probably top notch. Maybe could change mats depending on what you want.

i have that package from last year. the projector is great no need to upgrade, the computer is very adequate to run fsx, the only thing i changed was the mat as i thought it was too grabby. it is a great price for all you get. foresight sells this same thing with club data for 24k so if you add club data it is still a 4k savings. The enclosure is built like a tank

it will come with 30 day trial of club data and putting analysis so you can decide if you need it later. can be
added anytime. even next year as it is justv a license. the hardware is already in the quad

i put the computer on the cart and ceiling mounted the projector. you would only need to upgrade the projector if you wanted 4k but the 1080P that comes with it is very bright

I just jumped on the same deal, except it is only a $3000 discount. I would love to learn about your experiences setting up and using the set for the past year.

Mine just delivered. Very pleased with the quality of the enclosure and the PC came with a RTX 3060 which was better than I was expecting. One thing I noticed is I don't have a FSX Play license. My Quad was manufactured Oct 2022 and I would expect the latest software to to come with it after spending so much $$$. Anyone else recently order the Eagle package from Costco and have FSX Play?

What did the Costco ad say in terms of the software it was supposed to come with?

            The Costco pages says:
FSX Gaming and Performance Analysis Software with lifetime license
Premium 30-course package with lifetime license

I was told by Foresight yesterday that it did not include FSX PLAY and that they will ask Costco to update the page to make it clear. Pretty disappointing... I did get the cyber Monday deal on club data so that helps me sleep at night...
        Working...
