    ISO FR1 Software or FSX2018

I purchased a GC2 from a Top Golf Franchise that went out of business. I am looking for the old FR1 software to run mainly for game improvement. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell with the Dongle or know where I can purchase?

If not, would TGC 2019 be good for game improvement?

    Thanks!

I don’t have anything to sell at the moment, but I do have all 3 of the softwares you mentioned. In my opinion, if you’re just looking for a range/data, I’d look for a copy of FR1. TGC is good if you’re looking for for a lot of courses and better graphics. I just got the original FSX recently and the range is ok, but it doesn’t appear to have as many settings to customize as FR1 does (ball trace, view, time between each screen…etc.). The graphics don’t appear to be that much better than FR1, maybe slightly. I think FSX has the ability to integrate cameras, but I haven’t tried that yet. If the price is the same, maybe I’d consider FSX, but I’m guessing you’ll be able to find FR1 cheaper. You don’t see either one come up for sale by themselves very often. One other thing to consider is that if you may ever want to upgrade to FSX 2020, it will cost you $2,000 if you trade in FR1 or $1,000 if you trade in the original FSX.

The TGC graphics with are significantly better and they do have some ranges, but I haven’t found one that displays all the data as well as the Firesight options.

Another one you may want to take a look at is Protee Play. It’s got a couple of ranges and games that are ok. Nothing too exciting, but the price isn’t too bad and you won’t have to wait to get it. They’ve been promising an upgrade for a year and a half, so I don’t know if that will ever happen.

Also Foresight has a free app that does a decent job of displaying data on an iPad.

    Good Luck!
