Does FSX Pro work with GC2/HMT via IPAD/Bluetooth?

Finally upgraded from FSX to FSX 2020. One of the reasons was to use FSX Pro with IPAD. But after getting everything loaded and up, I am unable to connect IPAD to GC2. It's not seeing the GC2 (no devices found). Saw old threads from Feb 2020 that this functionality was right around the corner so didn't research any further.
Sent a message about it to Foresight a couple days ago but still no response so now asking the forum.

I believe Bluetooth connectivity is still a work in progress so for now FSX Pro on the iPad only works with the Quad through wifi.

No, it does not work on Bluetooth. And I would anticipate the "work in progress" on this issue to last into perpetuity. Foresight/Bushnell have washed their hands of GC2/HMT.
