  • Wedge - Hop Hop Stop Numbers needed?

    Hello,
Thank you guys for helping me on the first post.

    I now have a 2nd post
Again not looking for advice on 'setup, swing, golf ball, degree of club, or anything on what I should be doing'
Assuming any wedge here from 48 Degree to 60 Degree.

But using the Gc2 what kind of numbers do I need to achieve to produce this result?
Strictly need what does my Gc2 need to show on its display and Ipad app to get this type of wedge shot.

Or even better if you know how to produce this shot can you tell me what degree your wedge is and what kind of numbers I need to aim for?

    http://www.golfwrx.com/265073/how-to...e-low-spinner/ - article talks about

Should I be aiming for these figures on our Gc2?

I agree 9000+. Also depends on green condition.

9500 or more for a low hop and stop. In the golfwrx article you reference, you'll note that his ball runs 10 yards from the point of hitting the ground. The 8100 wasn't enough to do what you're probably looking for.

Darn I thought it was around 8500...
ARgg 1.5k more ? How is that even possible lol

Do any of you know what the other number should be?
Launch Angle,Side Angel , Side Spin, Decent Angle?

Don't get wrapped up with numbers. I don't think you will find exact "numbers" that are needed to spin a wedge. Many factors involved. Better of grabbing a bunch of ProV's, a nice wedge and practice on real turf.

Yes but I'm trying to achieve something here with this unit.
I want to get my handicap from 14-15 down to a single by this season

Granted there are other factors but I think the numbers will help me aim for a goal.
For example I thought 7k was all I needed but apparently not.

What part of your game are you losing strokes?

                    Thats another topic.
I really got this Gc2 to refine my game and practice in a more consistent level I couldn’t do before.

Right now for me I have specific goals so numbers mean more to me than ever

Alright. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Be careful not to chase numbers too much and use some feel in your play.

Eh TW got to where he is by chasing a number 19.
Bill Gates my personal hero go to where he is by chasing a number. "We had dreams about the impact it could have. We talked about a computer on every desk and in every home. It’s been amazing to see so much of that dream become a reality and touch so many lives. I never imagined what an incredible and important company would spring from those original ideas"

Golf honestly means more to me because I chase a number

If your a 15 hc, forget playing shots like that, use your gc2 to learn and hit the ball in the correct direction with the correct spin, hit fairways with your drives and on to or near the greens with your seconds and practice your short game. Easiest way to get down to single figures. If I missed every green in regulation but left a up and down chip and putt on every green I would expect around a 80.

Ps my problem is terrible driving (now I play 1 / 2 times a month) rest of the game is easy in comparison lol. Couple of weeks ago had a 74 and missed ever drive by 50 yards plus, into green shots where good but short game was fantastic. Hence a 74
