current version is FSX 2020 v7.7.1.1 i think gc3 needs a different version from what i have read
i believe this is the GC3 version https://www.foresightsports.com/supp...x-subscriptionLast edited by Jnc10; 10-16-2021, 11:06 PM.

So the Quad and GC3 use different versions of FSX2020? Sounds like they are trying to lock down the TGC2019 exploit the Quad has which allows connection.
Say if they removed the Quad driver, that would probably limit at least the current workarounds from working.

Just a warning on Foresight with TGC. I was running a GC Quad feeding TGC 2019 and found the lateral dispersion in TGC for the driver was half that from FSX 2020. You may like that, but as I was reminded, TGC is just a video game, so it "plays more fun" when it makes you look better. If golf accuracy is important, the overpriced Foresight courses may be the way to go.

Looks like I will have to post the data and figures. I also ran TGC 2019 and GC Quad both at the same time - Carry is the same; Total Distance depends on TGC Terrain and roll model; but OffLine Dispersion is very different. Even if there is a difference with TGC 2019 reporting OffLine Carry and FSX 2020 OffLine Total, the roll is only about 10-15% of the total so is unlikely to nearly double between the two methods. The easiest comparison is OffLine Angle, which is approximately = OffLine Distance / Carry or Total Distance where OffLine is measured / 0.0175 (to convert from % to degrees). Driver (245-ish) OffLine Dispersion from TGC is 55% of that from GC Quad; 5-iron (190-ish) is about 60+%) and Wedge 5-70 yards is 75%. Give me a day or two to condense my notes into my word limit....I'd love for there to be a forgivemess setting that would fix this.

Apparently TGC doesn't just use the data, club speed, ball speed, carry, etc., from the GCQuad? It must apply it's own math (for the reported parameters) to the numbers that GCQuad reads because I'm seeing some pretty big discrepancies reported on the shot screen on TCG after a shot compared to the data/results on the GCQuad.
I uploaded a description of data supporting my conclusion that TGC 2019 greatly undercomputes lateral dispersion at the link above. Some of the same people are participating in both threads.
