    Led lamp and GC2

I am concidering adding more light above the impact zone in my sim. Would that cause problems for the GC2 reading shots?

I have an LED spot light illuminating ball/tee area on my mat with my GC2/HMT and it works great. I have it mounted on my cage mounted pole pointing directly down over tee. It produces a nice circle of light centred on tee with zero misreads. It was a cheap spotlight from Amazon.

I use about 15 track led lights when using swing capture cameras - no issues at all with the GC2 reading shots. And, they are not even no flicker bulbs and still no issues with GC2. You should be fine.

GC2 uses infrared strobe. Led's used for illumination by humans are in the visible light spectrum not the IR region.. Where you can get in trouble is using IR space heaters that are in the GC2's field of view..
