FSX 2020 - not recording GIR??

Anyone else having an issue with FSX2020 where it’s not recording a successful GIR? In other words, every course and every round I’ve played shows 0 GIR; however, in the shot history, there are clearly par fours where the second shot hit the green.

I do play on auto putt, but that shouldn’t change GIR, obviously. And never had an issue like this until the most recent update. Anyone have a fix? Kinda makes the GIR stat irrelevant, when it’s likely the most important one to track… frustrating.

OP or anyone else, were you able to figure this out? Mine still shows 0 GiR for all my rounds

It's working for me. FSX Rounds home page shows total % of GIRs (along with average score and driving accuracy), and GIRs for each round are shown in the statistics from that round.

Heard back from tech support and they said if you play using “auto putt” then it doesn’t capture GIR. I’ve been playing 100% of my rounds with auto putt, so I’ll have to test it next time I play.

Sixmudd still not working for me, even after most recent update. I’ve emailed tech at Foresight now 3 times - never received a response…

delaloi Are you using auto putt? I believe that’s the issue. When auto putt is turned on, both GIR and putts are not calculated.

Sixmudd glad you heard back from tech. And that’s an interesting answer…. GIR worked with autoputt on FSX2020 for almost a year until the second to last update. And worked 100% of the time under the previous build. Did they mention it as something they were going to fix? Or they are just OK with it being broken all of a sudden (and acting like it’s as intended).

Yeah this is all they said (response below from tech support). I really didn’t pay attention to it until this thread was brought up. Please report back here if you hear back from tech. Would be interested to see what they tell you. But now that I think about it, One would think GIR would work with or without autoputt turned on.

I do not use auto-putt. But that is silly that it doesn't capture GIRs when you use it. The one should have nothing to do with the other.
