GCQuad - Bad Club Data Readings

I have a GCQ that I purchased about 6 months ago. I have noticed some club data readings that make no sense when compared to the ball data. Usually this data is from longer clubs - 3hybrid, 3wood, etc (ie the faster swing clubs). As an example tonight i had the 3W club data showing dynamic loft ion several shots of 30* to 50* vs the club loft of 15*. Some even showed a NEGATIVE dynamic loft! So i know the club readings are incorrect. The question I have for anyone that can help - could this be due to the environment I am hitting in - ie not enough light or something else etc? Or are these readings due solely to a faulty GCQ unit? The ball data does appear to be correct to me based on how impact felt vs. What FSX shows on the screen.

I have spoken to Foresight before about this and they said its extremely rare that the unit is malfunctioning - they suggested its usually the hitting environment. To get this checked is quite a process as i need to send to the US for testing. I am based in Canada.

    Any thoughts, comments are appreciated.

Maybe try to find someone near you that also has a Quad. Then do some comparison checks.

Try a different location with same clubs, like the range or check sticker placement if used. Was it fine for 6 months then just started to happen?, check lighting, balls, background objects, reflecting shoes!

Is this just occasional misreads, or a consistent problem?

The Quad does not need a lot of ambient light to operate, so unless you are really hitting in the dark I doubt that's the problem. Anyway you could try with more light and see if that helps.

I have not seen numbers like you mention, but occasionally a read does not make sense or gets missed entirely. Usually when one of the fiducials is worn. I just ignore it.

its quite strange. it is frequent on my 3h, 3w and driver. all of them show dynamic loft at impact of numbers much higher than the club loft. my driver average is 20* dynamic loft vs. actual loft of 9*. my irons are the opposite, they show dynamic loft less than stated loft which is what you would expect. If i hit 10 3ws, it will be incorrect 8/10 times. I sent the unit to Foresight about 1 month after i got it and they said they fixed the issue. but the issue remains.
