GC2 USB Interface with TGC - weird shot result

I have a weird shot outcome that occurs occasionally (1 every 2 rounds). Well hit iron flies too far in TGC. See GC2 image of a shot I hit on the current ProTee United tournament on 18th hole. It was 175ish yards, 7 yards down hill to pin. Good 7I for me pushed slightly right. Carried 199 yards in TGC 2019 over the green and behind a tree!. I also included picture of USBTGC1test interface data (sorry, its a bit blurry). I took this after completing hole, so shot in question is a few rows up. The rows are doubled for this shot. You can see ballspeed 117.61, ballpath1.55, launchangle 19.24, but first has 0 backspin and 0 sidespin whereas second row matches GC2.

Edit: I added the shot recording, which also shows two records for the same swing.

Was wondering if first row with zero spin caused the extra distance, but TGC 2019 shows the spin # matching the GC2. Is this a known issue?

I have enough issues with my own game and wish to eliminate computer issues. It's a short term issue for me as I have a GCQuad on the way, but still would like to understand situation.

Thanks in advance for any perspective/advice. Click image for larger version

I have the opposite problem. The USB interface console will say something to the effect of “shot rejected due to zero total spin” even though the GC2 screen shows a perfectly valid spin reading. I just re-hit and move on. Your issue is worse because you would have to rewind to rectify the situation.

I know about this problem and we cannot figure out why. The GC2 says the correct numbers but the interface doesn’t get them

I haven’t seen this one. No one has reported it. The ball is carrying longer because there is no spin but I don’t think TGC is getting no spin because it lists spin. Was there an elevation change? The numbers in your TGC image are the numbers TGC used for the ball flight, not the 0 spin.

I mis-typed my original post. It was 175 yards, down 7 feet. I waited to confirm as I played course again today and had similar decline. This time, no weird result. Was getting several swings recording on GC2 and not getting to TGC 2019.

To be clear, not trying to complain about this. Just looking to confirm what is normal. Obviously TGC 2019 software itself isn't perfect. More I play, the more I realize there are some negative offsets to the favorable flat lies, not hitting out of real sand or rough, etc.

Carrying it 40 yards long is not normal. I don’t see what’s causing it. It looks like TGC is getting the right numbers.
