  • FSX2020 Choppy...Help

Just got my GC3 today and when I go to play a course or challenges, game play is SUPER CHOPPY and slow. Any ideas on what the problems could be?
    Computer specs are as follows:
HP Intel Core i7-8700K 4.7Ghz with 16GB RAM
    NVIDIA RTX 2060 GC

See if something else is running (like windows disk indexing). I have an i5-11400 with a GTX 970 and it plays fine at 1600x1200 for me.

As TD said, look for something running in the background, indexing or backup programs are typical culprits.

What type of connection are you using? Can you try a different type of connection and see if that makes a difference? Could be a communication issue, PC might be waiting for data.

You could also try temporarily turning off ball path tracing. If the choppiness goes away you'll probably need to make sure your video card is set up correctly you can look at that here: https://www.foresightsports.com/site...p_07182016.pdf

Don't be afraid to call Foresight support, might need to be flexible in how you get in touch with them but dedicate some time to chatting/emailing or phoning them, frustrating to not get it fixed right away but their support techs have treated me well. https://www.foresightsports.com/support/hardware/gc3 https://help.foresightsports.com/hc/...d=360000519494

Long shot, but I believe that processor has a built in graphics card. Make sure your video connection is with the GPU and not into the CPU.
