Good article. They need to work harder on innovating software. Hardware growth relies greatly on successful software innovation. Something they have been struggling mightily with. -
I liked the article, I don't think they only need to work harder on innovating software. For FS is to get the right people leading the software group. I don't have the FSX and what I have heard not so great so far and never got a email form them saying that FSX was released. You just don't delay release for a year and then release half a$$. That just doesn't work anymore. It seems like the software has always been a after thought but I think they could do really well with the right offering.Comment

Mx, I did talk to someone at FS about a week ago. Even their sales process is disjointed and disorganized. They need to link up with a great software developer and combine sales efforts. They could sell a lot more units than they are now if they actively had better software options. The ProTee TGC option has certainly sold a number of their LM... Imagine if they were actively selling it that way. Having their new software go to market 9 months late and only have 1 course option available out of the gate isn't good for business. I wish I could say that I'm optimistic about Foresights FSX, but I just don't see it going well. Software is where the money is at, but they've proven that they aren't a real player in that market.Comment
