GC2 Tech Assistance - Input connection error

    Hi all,

Thank you in advance for any direction. Purchase a used GC2 setup. Came with PC with TGC 2019 preloaded.

I'm trying to test out the monitor and can not seem to figure out what is wrong. See attached image. As I tried to follow the setup up steps in the sticky thread.

On the setup prior to connect i only show ports 1 through 3. My system shows 4 and 5.

    Any one have a solution!

I can't tell from your picture what COM ports the GC2 is using, but I believe you should be able to find those by going to Bluetooth & other devices - More Bluetooth options (right side of the screen) - COM Ports (middle tab). Those need to match the COM ports in the Settings tab on the TGC interface.

Than you for the reply, appreciate it. Very frustrated.

I did what you suggested, Incoming COM shows 6 and outgoing 5.

I did get it to connect briefly got into TGC, played a hole, there was a huge delay from ball strike to on screen shot. Then on the green would call out distance on GC2 although ball wouldn't move on green in game.

After that i can get it connected again. Any thoughts?

Gwizgolf how far away is your Bluetooth device? Makes a big difference to have a Bluetooth receptor dongle right next to the gc2( like 6 inches). Also sounds like you figured this out, but while only ports 1-3 show, you actually can scroll down to see and select the other ports.

Glad you got it connected, at least briefly Like Laboroflove mentions, how close your GC2 can make a difference, a lot of computers have a very limited bluetooth range. I believe a lot of folks end up buying an external Bluetooth extender. I'm guessing that's most likely your issue, but I've also had luck with rebooting both the GC2 and computer to reset the connection.
