I have one and ran it beside a GC2. It's solid.

How close were the numbers when comparing the GC2 VS GC3? Was launch angle/Spin axis/back spin/ball speed/Carry Distance all pretty much identical? I have a GC2 and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to a GC3?

The numbers were pretty much the same.

Did you happen to also be using an HMT and if so, how did the club numbers compare?

I have an HMT but I never got the club data on the GC3. I think it was the stickers I was using. I never tried again. GC3 gives 1 dot data only.

Got it a couple weeks ago. It's worth the money.

Got mine 3 weeks ago. Wouldn't turn on out of the box. Had to send in for warranty repair. Apparently its happening to 10% of the LaunchPro's and GC3's that are being shipped.

I had one but it was measuring launch angle around 3-4 degrees too low.

Had to send it back into foresight.

It’s been about a week and a half and I haven’t heard anything from foresight other than it was received by them.

Im pretty pissed, I asked for a refund instead of an RMA and they refused.

            Foresight sucks man

I really like the form factor of the of the GC3 but the more reviews I read the happier I am with my GC2+HMT that has never given me any issues. It is surprising that Foresight is selling CPO GC2's at a higher price than a new GC3 (if you subtract out the $3,000 FSX2020 license cost).

I got one of the first round and I’m thrilled with it. Once Someone makes TGC communication possible, I’ll love it a whole lot more.

I have an OLD GC2, (FR1) and looking to upgrade my software to FSX2020 ($2,000) so I am now considering getting the GC3 with the software. I am looking at primarily the training aspects of the new software. I hate the range on TGC. $2,000 to get the software and keep the GC2 or Trade it in and lose TGC? FYI Trade in value is ~$2,500 Thoughts?

Sell the unit yourself, you will get between $3500-4000…

I have had mine for about 3 weeks. I upgraded from a Skytrak unit. So far it's great...I will love it when someone gets it to work with TGC2019. The only issue I have had is the occasional no read with my driver.

I went through the no communication with my driver for the first month I had it. It would literally catch 1 out of 10 shots.
place the ball in the middle to the rear of the hitting zone and it’ll never miss a shot. Irons don’t seem to matter where you put the ball but driver and woods need to be center back.

Bought mine in late Nov, upgrading from Skytrak, and find It so much easier to use. I love how quickly it reads shot, rarely misreads shots, and the numbers are pretty spot on! I dont even really use it for gameplay but simply just to avoid going to the local driving range. I very happy with the product and support I get from Foresight if there are any issues.
