  • Fantasy Courses and Par 3 courses

Is there a list of which courses are fantasy courses somewhere? I have a couple of them and while these two are quirky, I've had a lot of fun with them. The two I am talking about is Blue Bayou and......well damn it, I've forgotten the name of the other one, but the short tees are 6,800 yrds and it's a par 74. Anyway, I'd like to look into buying a few other quirky ones.

On another note, is there another Par 3 course besides the Pitch N Putt one? My wedge game has improved dramatically (and my handicap dropped a lot almost 100% attributable to my wedge play) thanks to the simulator. But I've now played that Pitch N Putt course a staggering number of times and I'd like to look at something else.

    Thx!

I second the comments on Pitch 'n Putt - quick to run through and a great way to dial in those 75% wedge shots! Besides that, I tend to stay away from the fantasy courses, but that is more reflective on personal preference then if they are fun to play.

What sim software has the pitch and putt course? How long are the holes? Looking for something to use in low ceiling basement.

      Thanks

FSX2020. All about 130 yards and in as short as 60 yards IIRC. Pitch n Putt – Foresight Sports

Another suggestion if you don't want to buy a par 3 course, is I made a Par 3 course using all the courses provided with original purchase and saved it as a custom course. If you go into improve and start say a course, you can jump hole to hole easily from the menu and see how good the holes are. I wrote down the cool par threes from each course that I wanted to play again. From there you can create a customer course, and just add your holes. You can also reorder the holes, etc. Anyway, works well.

You can play any course from the forward tees. Makes for some par 4s that become long par 3s or just hit off the tee to specific distance. Like from red tees its 140 yards to carry bunker which leaves 90 yards in. Use your imagination and don't feel like you have to bomb it off each tee when practicing.
