Not really sure what is happening. Confirm you have the license validation code for FSX and it has been registered? It really does look to me like some sort of validation error with the server. Is this the first time you are setting it up? Have you called FS?

Thx. I purchased and installed the system in the middle of December ad it has been working flawlessly ever since. Tried to call FS, nobody answering. Sent request to help desk as well and radio silence as well unfortunately

Might be a windows update I have had that before, are you running windows 10 or 11, works on both but my windows update changed something on firewall and wouldn’t connect.
if you have a 3rd party firewall turn it off for ten mins and try again or turn off windows firewall.

Turned out my local internet provider (xfinity) has a security setting that doesn’t work very well with the FSX software. ForeSight helpdesk figured that out for me and things are working like a charm again. Thx!

I'd love to hear details on that Xfinity issue. I have Xfinity and every once in a while things get weird, but ok most of the time. Mind sharing?

Here you go… this is what I received from ForeSight customer support and definitely solved my issue:

Customers having issues with Comcast/Xfinity not allowing their Activation Emails through or for FSX to validate/activate please adjust the settings below:

              1. Log into xfinity.com/myxfi

              2. Click "More" at the top

              3. Disable XFi advanced security

This issue was created by your internet service provider and is not possible for Foresight Sports to directly fix. It does require this change to your internet service in order to resolve. If you do not see this option available to you please contact Comcast/Xfinity directly to resolve.

I had the same issue and had to disable Xfinity advanced then works perfect.

It says I'm ineligible, so likely not a problem for me and I'd bet because I stopped renting an Xfinity modem/Gateway and bought my own that they said was compatible with my service. .

Sounds like a bubble gum fix to me. Hey let’s turn off your firewall it all works now, don’t worry about all the other stuff it’s protecting you from.

Ideally, it should be investigated more, probably just opening up a port that fsx uses for server or allowing a singular exemption!
