FSX 2020 on m1 Mac?

    FSX 2020 on m1 Mac?

    Has anybody gotten fsx 2020 to work on an m1 Mac? I have the m1 air and while I’m aware it does not have bootcamp, I’ve heard good things about parallels running windows.

    I’m looking to purchase the bushnell launch pro, in which I did check the MacBook App Store and FSX Pro is available to download as the iPad app that can run on the MacBook. My main thought for fsx2020 was to activate windows 10 and try running it through parallels but I’m not sure this would run smoothly. Thanks

      If you have of these Graphics cards installed sure it may work..Nvidia GeForce 30 Series (3060 or greater), Nvidia GeForce 20 Series (2060 or greater), Nvidia GeForce 16 Series (1660 TI or greater), or Nvidia GeForce 10 Series (1070 or greater)

          i tried to get FSX 2020 working on my M1 macbook and had no luck. First the GC2 driver (don't know if this is different for quad or others) does not work on Windows 11, and installing an old windows 10 image on Parallels is tricky and when I did, I got the GC2 driver on but it still wouldn't recognize the device. So I gave up and went back to an old PC I had.

              Got it makes sense thanks for the input, I figured it would be tough and workarounds would have to be tried out. I'm really just trying to weigh out my options if I was to move forward with purchasing the Bushnell.

              Not sure if this has been discussed much in the forum (I couldn't find anything in search), but based on your comment it seems like Windows 11 would also cause problems for any foresight software? I'm asking as I would probably be buying a new gaming laptop but I don't want to get one that is pre upgraded to windows 11 and not have it work.
