Quad not reading shorts after seeing ball

In the last week or so, my Quad seems to recognize the ball is there, but at/after impact it immediately shows that it doesn't see a ball and never registered a shot. It is by far the most consistent with any yellow balls, and white balls now its happening maybe every 3-4 shots. I have wiped down the camera area with a dry towel just in case something like dust is getting up there. It's been completely powered down for awhile and the comp restarted without any change.

I don't remember it not liking yellow balls before?

Could be either one of two thing:

    1) The camera is getting caught by something else that looks like a ball///white shoes, something reflective. Sometimes you can see stuff with a FO cam.

    2) Static, which can happen a lot during this time of year. Try spraying a water bottle in the air around the area and see if it continues.

Thanks. Spraying water in the area seemed to immediately correct the issue. Not sure why the yellow ones were providing the most problem on the static side.

There is a spray called Static Guard that works a little better than the water now that you know it’s a problem, fyi.

Also, the quad does this to protect itself from damage from static.
