  • Using the GC2 with E6

    Hello!

I am currently looking to purchase a GC2 used, which does not come with the FSX software. My plan was to use it with E6, however I’m reading conflicting information as to whether or not the FSX program is needed to do so?

would I really need to purchase both FSX and E6 programs to use the GC2 on E6?

Also, can someone tell me of the GC2 requires any stickers or markers on clubs or balls? I see that the GC3 requires them, but not sure about the GC2. Many thanks!

The stickers are only required if you are using the HMT add-on as they're for club data.

I don't know about E6 but there's at least two other software programs you definitely can use without FSX, one being TGC2019.

Excellent thank you for the info. Hopefully someone can chime in about E6.

I used to play E6 with my GC2 without having FSX license. However, I had TGC as well:
I bought E6 for “Protee” and used Protee interface, as you need to do to play TGC2019. It worked fine.

I'm assuming you mean E6 and not E6 Connect, right? E6 Connect requires FSX.

Right, it was E6 (not E6 connect).

Interesting. So it may be doable!
